La idea de la canción Hal Blaine’s Beat, era hacer un pequeño homenaje a uno de los ritmos más populares de la historia del pop, el comienzo de Be My Baby de las Ronettes. Es un sencillo y efectivo ritmo de batería ejecutado por Hal Blaine, músico de estudio que participó junto a la Wrceking Crew en cientos de grabaciones de temas que ya se han convertido en clásicos.
