La semana pasada grabamos en directo dos versiones acústicas para el programa de radio de Miqui Puig, Bodega Tuyus.
La primera es una versión de Nothing to Lose, la canción de Henry Mancini que Claudine Longet cantaba en El Guateque (uno de mis momentos favoritos de la historia del cine):
Luego hicimos una versión acústica de My Girlfriend Ronnie, que es el último 7" de Wild Honey que salió hace ya un mes (y que se puede seguir descargando gratuitamente aquí):

Last week we recorded live two acoustic songs for Miqui Puig's radio program Bodega Tuyus.
The first song is a cover of Claudine Longet's Nothing to Lose, a Henry Mancini's song that she sang on the movie The Party (one of my favorite moments on the history of cinema).
Then we played an acoustic version of My Girlfriend Ronnie, from Wild Honey's latest 7", that was released a month ago (and that you can still listen and download for free here).

El documental es muy emocionante y en él aparecen canciones como este On the front porch with you, que no conocía, y que me dejó sin palabras.

Yesterday I watched "The Boys, The Sherman Brothers' story", a documentary on the lives of the Sherman Brothers, composers of most of the best songs for Walt Disney movies during the golden era of the studio: Mary Poppins, Winnie The Pooh, The jungle book...
The documentary is beautiful and moving, and I discovered songs like this On the front porch with you that simply took my breath away.
Me ha encantado el documental "The dream's on me" que ha dirigido Clint Eastwood sobre Johnny Mercer, uno de los grandes compositores norteamericanos de música popular del siglo XX, autor de canciones como Moon River, P.S. I love You, Trav'lin' light, Come Rain Or Come Shine... no os lo perdáis si tenéis la oportunidad de verlo.

I loved the the Clint Eastwood directed documentary "The dream's on me", about the figure of Johnny Mercer, one of the greatest american songwriters af all time, writer of timeless classic such as Moon River, P.S. I love You, Trav'lin' light, Come Rain Or Come Shine... don't miss this documentary if you have the chance to watch it!
